Dropified Review with Bonus – This Is EVERYTHING You Need To Know
Running a business takes a lot of time, and dropshipping definitely isn’t the exception. Most gurus will tell you it’s making money on automatic, but trust me, it’s not as simple as it sounds.
You need to add product, research the market, fulfill your orders, track them, and more. Luckily, you can actually automate a lot of that, but it’s not part of your store from the get-go.
Dropified is an app that lets you do that: automate different tasks to free up more time to spend on growing your business. It’s also cheaper than hiring a good virtual assistant, so let’s see what it offers.
Is Dropified necessary?
If you want to save time—and have the money to spend—then you might want to get Dropified quite soon, possibly after you start making your first orders. It lets you import products and fulfill orders a lot faster.
However, it’s not a “must have” for your business. You can—and many dropshippers do—run your business without using it. It just automates the things you’d otherwise have to do manually.
In fact, many people start on their own and then reinvest some of their profits into Dropified. It lets them somewhat forget about repetitive tasks and focus on marketing and scaling.
Dropified offers several features that benefit your business either directly or indirectly. I’m going to be honest here, though; you won’t be using all of them straight away. A few of them are more than enough to help your business.
Even as you learn more about the platform—and start implementing more features—you might not use all of them.
With that in mind, let’s focus on the features I think are the most important and useful.
This extension lets you import products from the internet into your store without having to open your store’s dashboard. You can import your products directly from websites like AliExpres, Wish, Etsy, and countless other websites.
The list of websites supported by Dropified is outstanding, to say the least. Even though you’ll most likely stick to the most traditional ones, it might be a good idea to take a look at some of the more obscure sites.
Single click imports
Importing products from your supplier to your store takes a single click. It’ll import the product descriptions and images into your listings, so it saves a lot of time.
The traditional way to import products is to save the images into your computer. Then, you create a new listing, upload the images into your site, and start writing and editing the information and description.
Thankfully, Dropified does all of that for you, and the process remains the same regardless of which platform you’re using.
You can use this tool to remove any logo quickly or edit the product images to suit your (and your customer’s) needs. You’ll likely need to edit images even if you’re importing them from your supplier, so it’s a great addition.
It saves time and money from learning and buying tools like Photoshop, and you won’t miss any of the specialized features if you only need to remove logos or backgrounds. Dropified lets you do it in a few minutes.
Again, you don’t need to write all descriptions from scratch. You can create templates for the things you tend to include in your descriptions such as warranties or CTA’s. The template will add the elements you want.
You can create templates for titles, price comparisons, etc. If you run several types of offers and products, you can create templates for each one.
More advanced users recognize the advantages of offering product bundles to boost their average order value. It basically sacrifices a bit of the individual profit for each product to increase sales—just like a discount.
Fulfilling bundle orders with Dropified, the program will order all variants from AliExpress. It takes only seconds for Dropified to order all items from your bundle, so even if you don’t exploit bundles, you now have no reason to avoid it.
This feature not only saves time, but it also keeps you from making mistakes in case you’re getting overwhelmed by orders. It’ll take care of everything as soon as a customer places an order, and once you start getting several orders per day, you’ll understand why this is useful.
It does more than just placing the order, though. It also gathers all tracking numbers and sends them to the corresponding customer, along with a notification when their orders get shipped.
Dropified keeps you from checking AliExpress constantly to track your orders. You don’t even need to add the number to your backend and send these notifications to your customers.
As mentioned previously, Dropified does all that for you.
This feature allows you to find products with ePacket options effortlessly. It saves a lot of time from having to scroll through your supplier lists and checking each one for ePacket availability.
It also shows you how much the product will cost you once ePacket is included. Even smaller details like being able to see this at first glance save more time than you’d expect.
If you and your customers are in the US, then this feature is definitely something you’re going to love. You can find a list with more than 10,000 different products to ship from The States.
You can check whether or not the product you’re interested in is available from US-based vendors. It can cut your shipping speeds quite dramatically, and this always translates into a nice boost to your conversions and a competitive advantage.
Dropified doesn’t make things too complicated in this regard, and you basically have 2 different plans. The Builder plan is the basic one, and the Premier plan could be considered the premium alternative.
You can pay either $47 for the Builder plan and $127 for the Premier one if you subscribe for the monthly membership. If you decide to pay for an annual plan, the price gets reduced to $39 and $97 each month, respectively.
As for which one you should get, it depends on how many stores you’re running.
Most people will find everything they need with the Builder subscription. The Premier plan shouldn’t be necessary unless you’re already a successful dropshipper and you’re either running—or considering to run—several stores.
The Premier plan also lets you import more products, process more orders, add more users, and overall increase your store’s capacity. However, the Builder plan should still cover the majority of dropshippers.
You may also upgrade your Builder plan once you feel like you’re ready to branch out, so don’t worry about making the wrong choice at first.
Finally, you can also try out Dropified for free through a 14-day trial before deciding whether or not to pay your subscription.
The app bonus
This is a nice way to make some money off Dropified, and if you take advantage of this, you can even cover your Dropified subscription once sales start coming in.
You want to sign up the Admitad program. Once you do, you can get cashback for up to 8% of all your AliExpress orders processed through the Dropified app.
If you want to cover for your Dropified Builder subscription, then it would require you to fulfill about $600 through AliExpress using Dropified, and it would basically pay for itself. Once you start making sales—and depending on your products—it shouldn’t be too hard to reach that number.
Getting your cashback
It’s quite simple, and it only requires a couple of sign-ups, a copy-paste, and using Dropified like you normally would.
The first step is to sign up to Dropified. After that’s done, go do the same for Admitad; sign up as publisher and then repeat the process for the affiliate program available for AliExpress.
After you’ve done that, you’ll receive an affiliate link; just copy it and add it to Dropified.
That’s the entire process. Once you’ve done that, you just need to use your single click order automation, which is basically what you were going to do all along. Other than that, you just need to wait for your commissions to start stacking up.
As you can see, Dropified is basically a feature package filled with functions to make your dropshipping life a lot easier. It comes with a plethora of tools that will automate the most repetitive and time-consuming processes required to manage your store.
Of course, these are all things you can do manually. It doesn’t add new processes to your store, but it does take care of whatever you don’t want to spend time on.
As such, it’s not 100% necessary for starting dropshippers, but as your store grows, clients come, and orders start to rack up, you might start realizing why many people love this tool. Therefore, if you have the money to invest—or the profits to reinvest—and you want to save time, Dropified is definitely a tool worth checking out for your business.
