If you’re interested in taking Lewis Smith’s course on high ticket dropshipping from the UK, then you came to the right place. This article will review the course, the author and the content, so you can determine whether or not there’s money to be made with this course and business.
With so many affiliate marketers promoting courses today, it’s definitely difficult to find an honest opinion on products, but I’m not related to neither the course nor the author, so don’t worry about that here.
Reviewing Dropship Unlocked
Dropship Unlocked actually comes as an upsell for a free webinar about starting out on dropshipping without using conventional methods like eBay, AliExpress and social media. Of course, it’s the other way, and the webinar is just a promotion tactic.
Anyone can watch the webinar, and it’s a pre-recorded product instead of a live transmission. That’s why you’ll always see that it’s “just about to start” regardless of when you get to the page.
There’s no price for the course shown at first. If you’re interested, you need to schedule your own coaching call (for free) that will determine whether or not you can take the program.
Of course, it’s another scarcity tactic, and from what I’ve seen on the net, the course seems to be around the $3,600 mark. You might find it similar to courses like eCom Warrior Academy or Drop Ship Lifestyle, and that might be because Lewis Smith is actually one of Anton Kraly’s students.
About Author
Lewis Smith seems to be a fairly big influencer from the UK, yet most of his followers come from countries like India. While there seems to some numbers regarding his audience, it does feel “off” that a UK influencer doesn’t have a significant amount of UK followers.
Furthermore, you’ll quickly find he isn’t as big as it seemed at first if you look him up online. I couldn’t find a YouTube channel, and his Instagram and Facebook following also looks quite poor.
He does appear to be somewhat related to Anton Kraly and Johnny FD. He also made an appearance on the Nomad Summit in Thailand, where he spoke about high-ticket dropshipping, but information is—again—scarce.
Dropship Unlocked is his course, but given his somewhat obscure presence, it would be difficult to find beginners willing to invest that money. With that in mind, let’s check out what you actually get.
Testimonials
The course’s sales page comes with many testimonials, and you’ll mostly see images and a few videos. Like most testimonials, the last names for the students don’t show, so I can’t really tell you if they’re real.
Many testimonials praise the course for getting orders for up to over $3,000—mostly single ones, though—and they’re profits are claimed at around $500 and more.
I don’t really trust testimonials and screenshots. It’s not difficult to make test purchases on our own stores, and it only takes that for a “profit-proving” screenshot. Sure, they might be genuine, but there’s no way to check.
Finally, there’s profit margins. Anyone can make a sale for $2,000 and more, but that means little if you spent the same money (or more) on ads. These people could be losing money, yet we wouldn’t know.
Course Review
The course looks quite impressive at first sight, and its promises certainly have a lot to do with that. At least, we can say he knows about branding, but we’re here for more than that.
The program itself is a 6-week “masterclass” with live coaching with both the author and other entrepreneurs. However, I’d say it feels more like live Q&A’s every week than an actual course, and you also get 2 personal calls.
The content is completely online, and you can access it from anywhere. You just need to keep in mind that it’s better for UK residents, and overseas students might not learn as much.
Masterclass Review
As said, you get 6 modules to unlock every week. I can’t really tell you whether you can see them at your leisure or you have to wait each week, but it seems to be the latter, as with most weekly module courses.
As for the content, it doesn’t cover a whole lot, and it might feel too short for many. The price makes you expect a full guide from start to finish, but at least you can access them on any device and they’re high-quality.
What about bonuses?
There are several bonuses in the course. First off, you get your standard bonuses: scripts, private Facebook group, and a checklist.
The more “unique” additions to the course come as different tools and the weekly coaching calls and Q&A sessions.
Final Verdict
The course isn’t really a bad course, and it does seem like Lewis know the in’s and out’s of the business.
Therefore, if you’re in the UK, then you might get a good start from taking this course. It goes into good depth when it comes to the legal side of building a business in the UK—even considering EU laws.
It’s also good for people looking for more coaching than an actual course, so you might scratch that itch with this. You also get access to all future updates, but I can’t guarantee there will be any.
However, it’s definitely a very expensive course—among the top prices I’ve seen available. This worsens when we take into consideration how little you can find about Lewis and the program on the internet.
There’s no way to verify the author’s real success nor check whether or not he actually runs stores.
Signing into the course isn’t particularly easy as well—or so it seems. You need to watch the webinar, send your application, and then pay for it.
The content itself is also quite limited. There are only 6 weeks with a few lessons each, which is definitely less than you can get even from cheaper courses. Coaching is nice, but for the price tag, it could be more.
That’s why I can’t recommend this course, especially considering other courses like eCom Elites, which costs $197 ($297 for the premium package), and it still offers over 200 videos on all the topics covered here with a lot more depth and dozens of more strategies.
