How to Build a Sales Funnel Fast: No Need To Look Further!

Sales funnels are among the most effective and popular marketing tactics today. However, a lot of people have trouble implementing them, even with all the platforms available to help them.

However, you can actually create your own sales funnel in about half an hour. After you get used to it, you might need only a few minutes to create a complete sales funnels without having to pay an expert.

Get your account

Of course, you need to sign into a ClickFunnels account to use it. Don’t worry, you can get their free trial from the official homepage, and after a few minutes and some onboarding, you’ll be good to go.

Once that’s done, click on the option to build a funnel and go to the next step.

Choose a type of funnel

You’ll be taken to a screen where you can select which funnel type you want to use. The right choice depends on your needs, of course. You have 22 different types, and each one serves its own goal regardless of the niche.

Make sure to read the descriptions for each funnel to find out which one is best for your current goals. The screen makes it easy: you can look for your specific industry and objective. Once you’re done with this, you’ll only see the funnel types that work with your specific case.

This is great if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the amount of options. I’d recommend you filter the results first and then read the descriptions. You can also add certain goals if you want even more precision for the funnels you can use.

Every goal also has its own set of specific objectives. For instance, if you want to generate leads, you can choose between application, contact info, or running surveys. If you want to sell products, you can choose how expensive these products are.

As you play around with these options, the selection of funnels will be changing constantly to adapt to your goals.

The other option is to click on the classic builder option at the top-right corner of your screen. That will take you directly to the builder. Again, you can to choose a goal and type, but you can skip this again.

Choose a template

After choosing the kind of funnel you want to use, you’ll be taken to a screen where you can pick the template you want to use. Again, these templates vary depending on your goals and funnel type.

Make sure to take a look at all of the options until you find one that resembles your own branding or style. Doing so will reduce the time it’ll take you to customize the template. After picking your template, give it a few seconds until it loads; once that’s done, it’s time to customize.

Edit it

You should be looking at your dashboard by now. This space holds all features and settings you can use on your templates. It includes editing your path, checking statistics, adding more stages for your funnel, deleting it entirely, and more.

However, that’s not our focus right now; they’re better for people with more experience building funnels, so let’s just click on the “edit page” option under your funnel. This takes you to the editor: you can change colors, edit the text, implementing an autoresponder, etc.

Once you’re done customizing your pages, it’s time for the last step.

Launch it

If you’ve made it so far, you shouldn’t even have spent half an hour so far. You’ve probably also noticed how easy it is to use ClickFunnels: premade pages, easy-to-locate options, intuitive editor, etc.

The last step is to launch your funnel. However, you definitely want to spend a couple more minutes to test how your integrations are working, whether your URL is functional, submissions being sent, etc.

After that, you just need to launch your funnel and direct traffic to it.

Now, the next step is to send traffic to your funnel; it won’t do anything if no one is going through it. Your entire business depends on traffic, and funnels are 100% dependent on traffic to make sales.

Once you’ve found success using it, find how you can automate it—and even whether you can adapt it to a different platform.

It doesn’t really matter where you start as long as it’s a big platform. You can try ads for YouTube, Facebook, and Google, but you can also try organic methods like SEO and content marketing.

If you take it seriously and dedicate enough effort, you’ll make them work—just don’t spread yourself too thin. You can also apply this mentality to your funnel: only one funnel can be enough if it’s good and you drive quality traffic to it.

You want to do 3 things to your potential customers: catch, explain, and offer. You do this throughout your entire sales funnel; I’m not saying you need 3 steps in your funnel all the time.

You want to grab their attention first. Once they’re with you, you want to explain how your product can help them solve a specific problem. You then show them your offer after they’re aware of your benefits; this can be your product, opt into your email list, etc.

The 4 stages

A lot of marketers have adapted to the 4-stage concept related to sales funnels. These 4 stages are basically a description of the entire thought process of your potential customers when interacting with your business.

This idea isn’t exclusive to sales funnels, though. As I said, it basically describes how customers’ minds behave once someone comes into contact with your venture. They’re always a sequence: awareness, interest, decision, and action.

In other words, your customers first discover your business exists. Then, they feel curious about what you offer and go to learn more. Once they know what they need, they decide whether what they want to do before taking action: buying, subscribing, etc.

You want to consider this sequence when building your funnels. You must keep all of that in mind. While they always follow that sequence, you don’t need to build 4 steps for every funnel. Just make sure your entire funnel takes them from awareness to action.

Consider getting training

Online marketing is an entire career, and lots of people actively study every day just to become better at it. That’s true whether you consider paid ads, organic marketing, SEO, etc. Of course, it includes sales funnel.
